HR Intern

Job Description

Corporate Ready, LLC is seeking to employ an detailed-oriented and driven HR intern to assist our HR department with administrative and HR-related tasks. The intern will have the opportunity to work under the supervision of the CEO/Lead HR Consultant to gain meaningful work experience applicable to Human Resources.


To be successful as an HR intern, you should keep abreast of the latest developments in labor legislation to determine how client company HR policies may be affected. Ultimately, an outstanding HR intern should be detail-oriented and able to demonstrate excellent administrative and organizational skills.


This is an unpaid part-time internship expected to last for the remaining duration of the Fall 2022 semester and Spring 2023 (approx. January - May) with the ability to extend into Summer or Fall 2023. Permanent, paid employment opportunities may also be available contengient upon performance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain and updating company databases.

  • Screening potential client employees' resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates to fill company job vacancies.

  • Organize prescreen interviews with shortlisted candidates.

  • Posting job advertisements to recruiting software, job board(s ) and social media platforms.

  • Removing job advertisements from job boards and social media platforms once vacancies have been filled.

  • Assisting the CEO in gathering market salary information from Payforce system.

  • Preparing and sending offer and rejection letters or emails to candidates.

  • Coordinating new hire orientations.

Skills + Experience

  • Must currently be a full-time or part-time college student pursuing either an undergraduate or graduate degree in human resource management, management, or related field.

  • Must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience working in an remote home office environment.

  • Working knowledge of U.S. labor laws.

  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is advantageous.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • A high level of attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Exceptional administrative and organizational skills.
